Eleaf GTL coils are available in three different varieties, all developed for use with tanks and kits such as the Eleaf GTL pod tank or the Eleaf iJust D20 vape kit. To accommodate different preferences, GTL replacement coils are available in both MTL (Mouth To Lung) and DTL (Direct To Lung) resistances.

If you’re looking for discreet vapor production, for a stealthier vape experience that mimics the feeling of smoking a cigarette, we recommend either the GTL 1.2 Ohms coil (7 – 13W) or the GTL 0.8 Ohms coil (12 – 18W). Both versions work best with a 50/50 or high PG e-juice. However, for DTL vaping, the GTL 0.4 Ohms coils (20 – 30W) are the best choice and can be used with e-juices that have a VG content of 70%.

What e-juice can you use with GTL coils?

GTL coils are designed for use with a wide range of e-juices. The 0.4Ω coils can be used with a VG/PG ratio between 60/40 and 70/30. The 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω coils are best used with e-juices with a VG/PG ratio of 60/40 to 50/50 and are also suitable for use with nicotine salts.

How long do Eleaf GTL coils last?

The lifespan of a coil depends on many factors, including how long you puff, which e-liquid you use, and the wattage you use your coil at. Coils with low resistance, used at higher watts, will not last as long as higher resistance coils.

You can extend the life of your coil by:
– Priming the coil before use
– Using e-juice with the correct VG/PG ratios
– Not exceeding the recommended wattage
– Ensuring your tank is always filled so the coil never dries out.

With care, the GTL 0.4Ω coil can last from a few days to a week, the 0.8Ω coil can last over a week, while the 1.2Ω coil can last several weeks.
